“Primary Function

The Internal project support coordinator is responsible for providing quotation support, estimating, takeoffs, tender help, and support of the presales process—customer service assistance in post order and project management.

Objective

Work with Marketing, Sales Management, Marketing and Finance team for quotations and project management.
Build and enhance relationships between LEDVANCE Australia / Customers / Clients

Duties

Creation of quotations, tender documentation, and project support from inbound enquiries
Working with Sales Managers to ensure projects are collated for project management coordination.
Reviewing documentation and drawings for use in a quotation to customers
Reviewing luminaires schedules and quoting the LEDVANCE offering
Basic lighting design when needed
Project Management in conjunction with Customer Service.
Assist with Warranty and returns process when needed.
Built competitor portfolio and assist with Market research when required
Work with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales and Finance team when needed.

Responsibilities

Responsible for estimating and project management
Ensure that company policy is maintained on protecting and improving the public image of LEDVANCE
Working with the CFO and Pricing team to ensure the company’s financial targets are met.
Good understanding of competitors’ product offerings and pricing, with support from marketing and sales teams.
Develop a good working relationship with the Pricing Management team in Australia and Globally
Assist in the development of processes for Quotations and Project Management.
Run reports for the management team on the run rate of the quotes completed

Accountability

Responsible for Quotations and Project Management.
Providing clear and concise product information in conjunction with the technical team/ product coordinator by way of product datasheet, brochure or catalogue promptly
Meet deadlines for Quotations and Project Management.

Relevant Experience

Three years of experience in a similar estimating or product management role.
Understanding CAD or Lighting design programs such as Dialux is an advantage.
Excellent planning and organisation skills with sound attention to detail
Track record of any Customer Service, Internal Sales, Counter Sales, or Sales Support type of role in the Electrical or Electronic Industries from either a Manufacturer, Distributor, or Wholesalers would be advantageous.
Understanding of Lighting, Lamps and Lighting control (desirable)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Clear, confident and professional communication skills.
A good level of Microsoft Excel is an advantage
Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Scope of Communication

Communicate on the highest levels to management but also the lowest customer levels.

Ability to adapt quickly to any situation
