Our client, a National Transport and Logistics Company is looking for a Junior Accountant to support the Finance Team. This role will be based in Condell Park NSW and is your opportunity to join a high performing team and values driven company.

About the role:
Working with and supporting the Finance Team on a day to day basis you will also be responsible for assisting with procedure and systems improvements to increase efficiencies and streamline accounting processes.

This role requires someone who is analytical, a problem solver and results driven.

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Daily allocation of customer payments
Administering the Groups travel and expense system
Month End Reconciliations
P & L Analysis
Assisting with preparation of budgets and forecasts
Assist with preparation and production of management reports on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Maintain register for company vehicles, mobile phones and PCs
General administration tasks as required
Project based work
Actively participate in your own career and development including participation in your Performance Development Plan
To be considered for this role you will have:
An Accounting Degree
Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
XERO experience
Intermediate to advanced experience in Excel with strong knowledge of formulas, pivots and vlookups
Must have own transport and drivers licence
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail, excellent numeracy skills with a sound understanding of accounting practices
High organisation, efficiency, flexiblility and be adaptable
Motivation, a sense of urgency and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
