It is in this context that we are looking for a passionate and delivery focused Intern Software Engineer.

The Role

This role would suit a recent graduate looking to kick off their career in Software Development. The successful applicant will be part of our delivery team and will be responsible for contributing project delivery of key initiatives as part of our business transformation. You’ll bring a love of technology and clean maintainable code, with the ability to influence others in the same direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Technological delivery of features as part of a scrum team, whether it be writing/modifying functional code, automation and optimisation or maintenance of infrastructure
Estimating on stories during the Backlog Grooming process
Deployments of code and feature releases into production
Collaboration – working with other members of the Delivery Lab to groom, build and validate features
Ownership over the features built – implementing the DevOps mindset of ownership, automation and continuous improvement
Scrum stakeholders to deliver what the Product Owner wants
To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess:

Degree in Computer Science or related engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box
Team player with collaborative approach
Naturally curious with the desire to learn and grow
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
